La Jolla Tennis Club Invites Your Membership. We are a public membership club established in 1917 and chartered in 1923, with nine courts and a pro shop. We are nestled in the heart of La Jolla in San Diego, one block from the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean.
We are also the home to one of California's oldest and most prestigious annual tennis tournaments: The La Jolla Tennis Championships, which have been held continuously since 1917. The club was presented the 2006 Tournament of the Year and the 2008 Club of the Year awards by the San Diego District Tennis Association.
