La Jolla Tennis Club is a public membership club established in 1917 and chartered in 1923, with nine courts and a pro shop. It is nestled in the heart of La Jolla in San Diego, one block off the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is home to one of California's oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments, the annual La Jolla Tennis Championships, which have been held continuously since 1917. The club was presented the 2006 Tournament of the Year and the 2008 Club of the Year awards by the San Diego District Tennis Association.
